Cinnamon bread
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup of milk
- 6 Tablespoons butter
- 2½ Tablespoons yeast
- 2 Eggs
- 1/3 Cup of sugar
- 3 ½ Cups of flour
- Salt
TO DECORATE
- 1/3 Cups of sugar
- 2 Tablespoons BATAN cinnamon
- ½ Cup melted butter
- ¼ Cup of milk (to paint)
- 1 Egg (to paint)
PREPARATION
Heat the milk with the melted butter in a pot, it should be hot but it should not boil. Then add the yeast and stir the mixture.
In a bowl mix the sifted flour with the salt, add the sugar with the eggs and add to the first mixture. You should beat very well while adding the other half of flour. Then knead until the ingredients become a homogeneous dough, add the rest of the flour.
The consistency should be sticky but not too much, otherwise add some flour gradually.
Let the dough rest in a previously greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap for about two hours, or until you notice that it increased in volume. Then stretch it very well without leaving some thicker areas than others, so you will get a more pleasant and charming appearance.
Paint the dough with butter, sprinkle BATAN cinnamon and sugar. Begin to roll from the outside in, place the roll obtained in the greased mold (the width must be the same as the mold to be used).
Finally bake at 180 ° C for about forty minutes.
